Art Commission Fee Schedule

1. Initial Deposit: $150/Small Paintings $350/Large Paintings

  • The initial deposit secures your commission and covers the consultation, preliminary sketches, and planning phase.

  • This deposit is non-refundable and must be paid upfront before work on the project begins.

  • Deposit for paintings that exceed 48” will be $350

2. Hourly Rate: $100/hour

  • The hourly rate applies to all work done beyond the initial consultation and preliminary sketches. This includes detailed sketching, refining, and finalizing the artwork.

  • Hours worked will be tracked, and you will receive regular updates on the progress and time spent.

3. Payment Schedule:

  • The initial deposit is due upon agreement of the commission.

  • The remaining balance, based on the hours worked, is due upon completion of the project.

  • A final invoice detailing the total hours worked and the corresponding fee will be provided.

4. Additional Costs:

  • Any materials, shipping costs, framing costs or special requests that require additional costs will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding. These costs will be added to the final invoice.

5. Completion Timeline:

  • An estimated completion timeline will be provided after the initial consultation. Any significant changes to the scope of work may affect the timeline and will be discussed accordingly.
